Our client is an early stage manufacturing company in the global paper, packaging and board sector. Its ground-breaking product will revolutionise its sector by providing complete compliance to the EU Circular Economy Package (CEP) which becomes law in all member states in 2020. Product development and concept production trials are complete and this high growth company is now at an advanced stage in completing equity and debt financing arrangements to construct the first of a series of manufacturing plants across Europe.
They now have a superb opportunity for highly entrepreneurial Finance Director to support the founder and CEO. The priority will be closing equity and debt funding for their high growth strategy, whilst ensuring financial and commercial structures are matured to satisfy future growth. You will play a key role in contract negotiations with major target customers who have already signed Memorandum of Understandings to purchase large quantities when production commences, and with third parties including energy suppliers, engineering companies, waste management contractors & local authorities.
The successful applicant
We're looking for a highly entrepreneurial finance professional with a proven track-record of capital raising who is capable of working up conventional and imaginative funding models. You will have outstanding leadership skills with the ability to influence people and drive change with experience at a regional or global level. You will currently be operating at either board or sub-board level and have some exposure to or understanding of manufacturing.
