Quant Trader (Analyst / Strategist) required by London based FinTech that applies complex high-frequency trading techniques to the world of sports betting. Our client doesn't believe in separating trading from technology with their trading algos and modern tech stack existing side by side.
No matter which job title you currently hold whether that be Quant + Trader, Researcher or Analyst, if your skill-set translates to being able to make trading on their platform simple, inexpensive and safe, they would love to hear from you.
The problems you could be solving on daily basis may include but not be limited to:
Collecting, cleaning, structuring, analysing and visualising sports betting data from different sources
Researching, implementing, backtesting, shipping and monitoring data-based algorithms
Improving the performance of technical and fundamental market models
What will you need to succeed in this role?
You should have past experience working on developing or contributing to high-frequency trading strategies, however the good news is that this can have been in any market
Your Python or Java programming skills should be strong enough that you can implement your own research and put it into production.
A degree in a STEM subject, whether BSc, MSc or PhD.
Passion to take on an exciting new market head-on. This position will require you to be a true self-starter who backs themselves to make a difference and be the best at what they do.
