What it's about This role is in the Private Infrastructure asset management team within the Partners Group. The portfolio of investments includes renewable and low carbon conventional power, transport, communication, and energy and power networks. This is an expanding team of professionals dedicated to delivering the value creation from investments in ambitious companies made by the Infrastructure team on behalf of our client investors. In this role you will be responsible for the asset management of private infrastructure investments as well as broader operational responsibilities. This will include:
Working in partnership with deal teams in the asset management of private infrastructure investments to implement value creation plans, set up and operate best practice board governance and monitor performance
Developing strategic plans and identifying value creation initiatives in conjunction with management teams and service providers
Assisting deal teams in identifying and executing follow on acquisitions in investments
Development of relationships with underlying management teams, boards of directors and service providers
Supporting the due diligence of new opportunities with a particular focus on board governance, on-going operations and asset management post-investment
Develop, review and implement restructuring strategies and value improvement initiatives
Support, advise and challenge the management teams
Conduct and co-ordinate activity related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts
Assist deal teams in sourcing infrastructure investment opportunities throughout the world, with a focus on Europe

Motivated by the purpose of delivering vital infrastructure investments for the benefit of customers and Partners Group Investors
Top academic credentials (Masters/MBA/Financial qualification), with an emphasis on Finance, Economics and/or Engineering
A deep industrial experience, with a preference for transport, communications
Project management skills / experience
Experience of accounting and investment valuation principles
At least 7 years of relevant work experience working for an infrastructure business
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
A strong desire and modesty to learn
Developed listening and influencing skills
Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel (some modeling skills required)
Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative
Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task
