You will be joining a small team of 3 to 4 quant analysts.
Your main role will be to provide trading and risk analytics.
You will work very closely with the Head of the fund and other PMS.
Develop quantitative models across a broad range of applications.
Perform data driven investment research and work closely with different investment teams and portfolio managers to add value for clients.
Back-testing of Quantitative equity strategies.
Developing quantitative stock screens for idea generation
Development of new portfolio management tools
Assisting in quantitative fund management.
You must be able to demonstrate specific ideas and practical experience working with long / short strategies and discretionary managers.
You must have the confidence and ability to handle a high speed project turnover.
You need an advanced academic background in mathematics.
As back testing is involved, knowledge of systematic strategies is good .
You should be excited by the mission of developing analytics to support a long / short fund.
You must have hands on experience working with long . short strategies.
They will only consider quants who have most of their work experience from the buy side. This is not a role for a quant who wants to manage money / trade . This is pure quant research on a long / short discretionary desk. They are not interested in senior macro quants.
