Our client is a successful boutique asset manager with a strong range of active and passive funds. They are seeking to hire an Institutional Sales Manager to be based in their London office. The role will focus on the Middle East / GCC countries but will also cover institutional prospects in the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities will include: working as part of a small collaborative team, building relationships with a wide range of institutional prospects and fund buyers in the Middle East and Europe including pension funds, investment consultants, private banks and family offices, developing a good understanding of potential requirements and a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, leading presentations and new business pitches, keeping up-to-date on new regulations and industry trends, attending conferences and industry networking events and developing marketing and pitch material.
The successful candidate will possess a proven institutional sales or relationship management background, including exposure to the Middle East or GCC region, good investment knowledge, strong academics, excellent relationship building and influencing skills and the ability to thrive in a pressurised and entrepreneurial environment.
