Ensure that the processes undertaken by the PF business are in compliance with the agreed risk parameters and Bank Policies.
Ensure that the PF entities are in compliance with local Companies Act, Regulations and Bank Policies and promote directors' engagement and awareness
Manage all the internal and external regulatory reporting in relation to PF entities and PF exposures (incl India regulatory reporting, Group Corporate Secretarial reporting, BHCA, GST reporting, maintaining directorship list, etc)
Support proper governance for all PF entities and keep all information current within internal systems
Help prepare and maintain the CDD for the investment portfolio
Portfolio management of the residual assets on PF books
Manage PF business and risk management process issues by interacting (where required) with representatives from various functions, risk, governance and control committees.
Review existing process and implement changes to ensure robust controls are in place.
Ensure revised Operational Risk Framework is implemented to adapt to changes in business, new risks and robust testing mechanism is in place.
People and Talent
Work through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Be a team player and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
Enforce a culture of risk management, control and governance, and ensure PF team complies with the risk management processes in place.
Ensure that adequate and appropriate systems, control and procedures are in place to comply with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes.
Proactively advise on and monitor all major risk issues and control issues. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/ or ensure adequate escalation and reporting to the Managing Director and PF NFRC.
Maintain a high level of corporate governance in the PF entities and promote best practices.
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Regulatory & Business conduct

Ensure robust processes are in place to ensure compliance of the business with Bank Policies and external regulations which are applicable to the business.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
Implement process to ensure that PF team achieves the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
At least 3-4 years of Corporate Secretarial experience in the finance industry
Knowledge of basic accounting
Strong communication skills and ability to work with different levels of stakeholders
