The role will be diverse in nature with a core focus on the private equity market, an area Carpenter Farraday already has a strong track record of working with some of the best firms in the industry. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Business development to introduce Carpenter Farraday's capabilities to new prospective clients in the PE space
Identifying and systematically approaching the most relevant PE firms in the market
Working with team members to manage existing client relationships, ensuring relationships are kept warm and we are kept up to speed with client developments
Working with team members on delivery of successful search results from cradle to grave
Working with researchers to provide guidance on searches and client expectations
The successful candidate will ideally:
Have existing working knowledge of the buyside, preference for some alternatives experience but not required
Experience of working directly with clients in a service providing capacity
Commercially astute and ability to adapt to situations quickly
Ability to multi-task in its truest sense, managing numerous search processes simultaneously
Ability to work within a collaborative team and share real time information, while taking on personal responsibility to drive and manage a search
