Manage the flow of all legal documents related to the REITS portfolio so as to ensure that matters are dealt with in a controlled and timely manner.
Review, draft and negotiate legal documentation based on approved pro forma agreements related to Trustee Services. This includes on-boarding of new trustee clients - Trust Deeds custody agreements and registrar agreements
Responsible for reviewing, assessing and concluding all legal agreements Company enters into in its capacity as Trustee.
Review ancillary legal documents relevant to trustee service and transaction documents
Instructing external counsel appointed to act for Trustee and escalating decision-making as appropriate
Liaison with In-house Legal when legal expertise is required or issues arise which may expose Company to financial, regulatory or reputational damage
You will be:
Min 5 years' experience in Legal, REITS, audit or risk management
Familiar with legal documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and internal/external stakeholder management ability
Mature and meticulous self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
