The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
Deliver against the financial framework
Actively support and deliver superior financial performance for ME as part of overall CB Singapore 2019 growth ambition
Improve non-financing income through Cash & FX Flow
Origination / Credit Documentation
Work with the RMs on end-to-end BCA process including preparing RORWA Calculator, Scorecard, Credit Workshop, BCA write-up, etc and ensuring fast credit approval.
Evaluate risks based on in-depth analysis of financial data and thorough understanding of customer's industry, business cycles, and other relevant factors. Good quality concise write-ups with little errors and repetition of facts.
Participate in business meetings to conduct in-depth due diligence as well as work together with RM in structuring credit solutions.
Assist RMs in preparation of extension/waiver/deferral/excess requests, EAR.
Monitor credit monitoring report dates and to assist in the preparation of credit monitoring reports.
Governance and Risk Management
Compliance and strict adherence to the Bank's policies & procedures, as well as the local legal & regulatory requirements. Compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies
Proactively manage the risk profile and quality of the portfolio by staying close to the clients and raising issues early
Perform portfolio stress testing/reviews, internal and external (eg. MAS)
Minimize accounts moving into GSAM without 90days in EAR. Perform portfolio deep dives through ongoing engagement with Credit and GSAM
Audits and Assurance reviews
Learning & Development / Teamwork
To ensure the right level of training and development including mandatory courses, regular sessions with Product Partners and Risk, etc., to achieve maximum alignment, traction, best practice transfer, and teamwork.
Constantly enhance product knowledge and deepen sector specialty.
Provide coaching and share knowledge/ideas with colleagues. Increase engagement between team members/colleagues and create a conducive and energized environment for improved productivity
FDG - Delivery of Fair Dealing Outcomes to Customers
Align policies and practices in Commercial Banking to the fair dealing outcomes
Implement the fair dealing strategy and work plan in Commercial Banking
Exercise effective oversight in the management of Financial Crime Risk. Proactively identify gaps and issues in the FCC controls, and perform a bottom-up review on the existing controls and processes to ensure compliance with MAS Notice 626 (including Lessons Learned from MAS inspection, GIA, external auditors, CMR, and FCC Assurance's observations)
Align policies and practices in Commercial Banking to the Group Conduct Management Framework.
Implement the Country Conduct Plan in Commercial Banking.
Exercise effective oversight in the management of Financial Crime Risk ("FCR").
