This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to move into Middle Office and gain experience within a leading Investment bank in Ireland. You will gain an insight into the workings of a dynamic and growing operational unit. The position is part of the OTC Middle Office team based in Dublin as part of the Global Funds Services business. The individual will be supporting the administration functions of the team and be involved with many aspects of compliance, and will work closely with the BAU and R&C teams. Responsibilities:
Maintain the documentation of all process that the team performs on the internal SharePoint site and in the Global Procedures document.
Lead the team for SOC1, Internal Audit, and other Due Diligence requests.
Prepare presentations / decks ahead of all client and / or vendor meetings.
The individual must be able to drop into BAU work, when needed, and perform tasks to a high standard.
Ownership of the documentation of the team's processes in the Citi Risk systems and the on-going deliverables of monthly decks and reports for R&C.
Maintain the Global Risks and Controls (GRC) system for the team. This is comprised of the processes, their associated risks, and their associate controls.
Maintain the End User Computing (EUC) tools for the team and document any new EUCs that may be created.
A strong background in Risk & Control.
Experience in Finance Services
Proficient with Microsoft applications - Word, PowerPoint, Excel. MS Access & PowerBI advantageous.
Excellent written and oral communication. This will be a key part of the role.
Preferred understanding of a wide range of derivatives instruments types (Credit Default Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Equity Swaps, etc.) is an advantage.
Preferred experience with Calypso, MarkIT, Super Derivatives, and Bloomberg Terminal an advantage.
