The Sr. Liquidity Product Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a set of on-balance sheet and/or off-balance sheet products designed to meet the full spectrum of SVB's clients' needs. The Sr. Liquidity Product Manager plays a critical role in developing and delivering strategy across the bank as well as leading ongoing tactical initiatives. The individual will need to focus on multiple priorities including balance growth, interest expense, development of new products, and general partner education regarding liquidity products and markets. This role is expected to exercise creativity, critical thinking, analytics, and collaboration to solve problems. Although the role does not include direct reports, the person needs to be a thought leader across Liquidity Management and SVB more broadly. He/she will need to address situations guided by precedent and/or create precedent, as well as execute independently and exercise judgment based on the analysis of available information.
B.S. degree or equivalent experience required. MBA is a plus
6+ years of Commercial/Wholesale Deposit Product Management or Treasury Management product experience
Prior experience in Commercial Banking, and/or Financial Performance and Analysis within financial industry
A proven track record in executing projects/strategies across multiple stakeholders; In-depth understanding of short-term fixed income markets, fund flows, liquidity products, and on-boarding/support model
Familiarity with relevant regulatory materials, in particular with regard to liquidity and balance sheet management and current deposit and non-deposit investment product offerings
A firm grasp of specific trends impacting the banking industry with an overlay of knowledge of broader macro-economic trends (including rate specific trends)
An awareness of deposit modeling and its application in liquidity risk assessment
Ability to translate market trends and accompanying client needs into commercially viable solutions. Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
