Department Overview The Consumer Lending Technology group within Wells Fargo Technology consists of Home lending, Auto and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses.
About the Role You will work as Technical lead for eLending function within Home Lending Technology. You will interact closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver value for the Business.
Lead, architect, design and develop Systems engineering solutions to perform at scale.
Work with stakeholders to research new technologies, frameworks, tools, proof of concepts.
Develop reusable solutions that can be shared with multiple groups.
Plan, perform and resolve escalated issues related to platform, coding and testing deliverables.
Define opportunities across IT to maximize business impact and innovate engineering processes to reduce Systems construction and maintenance costs.
Ensures that applications and systems are actively tested for resiliency under different scenarios and monitor them to increase availability.
Expected to contribute towards integrating complex platforms including several components with business domain and process context.
Focus on building relevant engineering and business capabilities in the organization to keep pace with demand and best practices in the industry.
Coordinate implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments
Work with stakeholder groups to identify, arrange, and/or deliver training needs.
Lead/participate organizational initiatives. .
Computer science Engineering degree
Expertise in core Systems engineering with a minimum of 12 years relevant experience
Advanced level expertise in data structures and algorithms, object oriented programming, design patterns and concurrent programming; Agile/TDD
Advanced level expertise in at least one of: Relational data stores; Operating systems/computer architecture; Networking; Performance Engineering.
