Able to independently onboard investment advisory firms ontothe BNY | Mellon Pershing platform to provide financial custody services forclient accounts. Works directly with advisory clients to plan and execute adetailed transition project to smoothly transition their firm and clientaccounts onto our custody platform. Facilitates the set-up of the firm toutilize a wide array of products and services, coordinates opening of clientaccounts, technology integration and system connectivity. Understands BNY | Mellon Pershing products,services, and transition options available in order to make their conversionfrom various custodial contra platforms seamless. Responsible for the overall transition projectplan, establishment of timelines, and ensuring Service Level Agreements are met.Responsible for the overall success of large, complex transitions and ensuresclient satisfaction through the monitoring of project quality and efficiency aswell as the overall client experience. Provides consultative support of complexsituations for internal and external clients. Provides leadership andrecommendations for onsite client support and training, assists withdocumentation, quality review and submission of documents. Leads projectmanagement activities for the transition such as reporting, planning, issue /risk tracking, scheduling, effort estimation and coordination and delivery oftraining. Identifies internal gaps or quality issues in transition processesand makes recommendations for improvement. Reviews control reports toeffectively mitigate risks and resolve problems that arise during theconversion process. Marshalls firm-wide resources (product, technology,marketing, compliance, service, etc.) to ensure client transition needs arebeing addressed, and develops processes to ensure communication and alignmentacross teams. Ensures activities meet all compliance, legal and regulatoryrequirements. May facilitate legal negotiation or document review. No directreports; acts as an individual contributor and provides guidance to lessexperienced colleagues. Allocates work to and monitors the work quality ofothers assigned to the client. Leadsprocess improvements based on post-mortem transition analysis. Client interaction is maintained virtually viaphone and e-mail in addition to face to face onsite client support. Flexibilityfor travel is necessary. May support several clients at a time in variousphases in the transition life-cycle. Must have strong client service, timemanagement and problem-resolution skill sets to effectively manage transitionevents and consistently meet deadlines. Direct client facing experience isrequired, as an important component to the success of this role is in strongand consistent communication.
Qualifications Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in securities, financial services or client-facing or project management roles preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
