Duties: Deliver a broad-based financing platformto credit investing clients (credit funds, BDCs, asset managers, financialsponsors and hedge funds). Partner with Markets sales, Banking coverageand other internal teams to identify themes and target clients. Market theplatform to clients on a cross-asset basis. Utilize a Markets perspective toaddress corporate finance issues, including analysis of financial informationobtained from clients and filing. Identify actionable ideas and structureappropriate financing options. Execute successful pitches from termsheet stagethrough definitive documentation, including management of internal process withvarious trading, risk and control stakeholders. Develop new ideas and productsover time based on market trends and client needs. Review financial researchand strategy (published both within JPMorgan and externally) to remain updatedon market trends and issues.
Minimum education required: Bachelor's degreeor equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a relatedfield. Series 7 & 63 required. Master's degrees are useful but notmandatory.
Minimum experience required: 7 years of experience infinancing products or leveraged finance (credit, fixed income), or relatedexperience.
Minimum skills required: Must have transactionalexperience in capital markets or lending as well as significant Marketsbackground in additional non-credit asset classes (eg equities or realestate). Must have demonstrated client management skills (day-to-daypoint person, transaction management) and ability to deal confidently withpeople at all levels of organizations. Must have experience withstructured products, including delivery mechanisms and legal, capital and/oroperational concerns.
