Position You will be part of the Legal, Compliance & Risk Team within Wealth Management reporting to the Head of Risk Switzerland. To strengthen our Risk Team we are looking for an
Operational Risk Manager
Areas of Responsibility
Support the Head of Risk in administering Risk Framework (Definition and monitoring of risk appetite; identification, measurement and mitigation of risk, setting of appropriate limit structures and reporting).
Particular focus on the oversight of operational risk, IT risk, Cyber (IT Security) and the business continuity arrangements for the Service Centre Zurich (SCZ)
Risk Monitoring (control of adherence to set risk limits, exception reporting) as defined in the Risk Appetite statement and by relevant committees regarding operational risk of SCZ
Support 1st line functions with the analysis of new regulation impacting the SCZ as well as the definition and implementation of mitigating measures
Coordination of Risk Issues with Group Risk working closely with the Group Operational risk team in particular
Support of the SCZ first line of defence in all aspects of operational risk management and in particular in the assessment of risk arising during change programmes.
Analysis and reporting of SCZ operational risk MI including RCAs, risk events and issues for senior committees
A university degree (or similar) and/or an appropriate financial industry experience,
At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in risk management, in leading Operational risk assessments and understanding key concepts relating to technology and security risk, business resilience and business continuity management.
Proactive approach to identifying risks, ensuring they are clearly understood and documented and discussed with the business;
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail: the ability to write accurate, clear risk reports appropriate for the relevant audience;
Fluent English and German. French is a plus,
