A Private Equity firm that has strong presence within Financial Services. This is a London based role.
The Chief of Staff will take responsibility for leading a number of major internal projects on behalf of the CFO/COO. These will focus on developing the systems and processes that will enable the firm to efficiently and effectively manage:
Origination of investments
Fundraising for investments
Execution of investments
The full list of projects involved will take shape as the role evolves, but examples of such projects will include:
Outlining and reviewing firm-wide processes across the Finance, Legal and other departments
Reviewing and developing the systems and processes the firm uses to monitor and interact with its Portfolio Businesses
Leading the introduction and implementation of a Document Management System, in order to professionalise firm-wide systems
The candidate must have a strong and demonstrable interest in finance, particularly in Private Equity. Although previous experience in PE or a deep knowledge of the sector is not required, the candidate should be able to show that they have an attitude and interest to make the most of this unique opportunity. Prior experience in an organisational support or project delivery role is preferable, although not essential.
The role will require working closely and collaboratively with colleagues from across the firm, many of whom will be very senior. Tact, diplomacy and resilience, alongside outstanding communication skills, are essential qualities in achieving success in this role.
