Summer Analyst Program Overview: The STRH Summer Analyst Program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. The Summer Analyst Program will consist of:
Activities: Networking socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects
Executive Speaker Series: CEO, Heads of STRH, among others
Community Service: Opportunities to participate in various volunteer initiatives are provided and involvement is strongly encouraged Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation.
Job Description: The STRH Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program provides interns the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within corporate and investment banking. Interns will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Summer Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.
Corporate Banking Summer Analysts support prospecting, idea generation, and structuring and transaction execution activities for corporate banking relationships. Analysts develop the experience to function as the second or third person in a relationship team for advisory, financing, and other banking and capital markets pitch activity, as well as transaction execution. Summer Analysts play a meaningful role on the team, and work closely with senior corporate banking professionals to help drive the growth of the business. The overall goal of the program is for the intern to develop a solid understanding of our industry, organization and strategy.
Conducting financial and market analysis used in new business development and transaction execution
Preparing client presentations
Working on financial models
Performing peer comparison analysis

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Completed junior year of a BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2020 or May 2021
Overall GPA of 3.0
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment Preferred Requirements:
Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
