HKEX's Listing Department ("Department") conducts the day-to-day administration of the Listing Rules as part of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong's role as the front-line regulator of listed companies in Hong Kong. The Business Management Unit of the Department assists with the regular and ad-hoc reporting obligations for the Department, formulates and monitors the Department's annual budget, contingency arrangements and oversees the implementation of the Exchange's IT, administrative, policy and support initiatives. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Business Management and is expected to:
Oversee the overall planning and implementation of IT projects in the Department and monitor project progress and delivery
Coordinate with other HKEX Departments and external service providers, where appropriate, to deploy new technology to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
Supervise the budgeting process and monitor resources allocation that provides for adequate financial and manpower strength to the Department
Review periodic reporting, risk reporting and other ad-hoc reporting to meet with various reporting requirements of the Department
Maintain and develop business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures
Ensure robust data is available to satisfactorily respond to audit requests from internal and external parties including providing logistics support for on-site review
Build and maintain trusted relationships with co-coordinators in the Department, HKEX and other stakeholders
Manage other ad-hoc projects or tasks within the Department
University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
At least 10 years' relevant working experience of which at least 4 years at a management/supervisory level with in-depth experience in business management and IT project management of well-established organisations
Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and proven experience to deliver technology to meet business needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working experience with FinTech/RegTech/AI/office process automation technology is a plus
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
