Global Supplier Services Operations is responsible for the global procurement processes, covering a vast number of areas, for example - supplier enablement on the ERP systems and on the Ariba Supplier Network, supporting requisitions and orders, payment of invoices, assistance and management of supplier catalogue setups, sourcing and contract management, along with developing and enhancing the technologies to improve the companies procurement and sourcing functions.
This full time position will be part of a global team, the selected candidate will manage and support the countries in their local region, however, with the opportunity of working with and supporting their colleagues in other regions, focusing on the supplier enablement on the Ariba Supplier Network, working with suppliers and lines of business (LOB) to ensure a smooth enablement process, both for full and lite Ariba setups, with the expansion of Ariba on Demand into multiple locations, the need to ensure an economic and slipstream process is in place to accommodate the ever growing number of transactions is needed, the aim to increase the percentage of electronic verses manual transaction methods is therefore essential to this success.
- Lead and drive Ariba Supplier Network full & light enablement in partnership with Ariba - Strong collaboration with technology & tax operations to ensure electronic invoices are compliant - Help suppliers and LOB's with Ariba Supplier Enablement - Identify potential suppliers for enablement - Support the global strategy to expand Ariba Supplier Enablement - Troubleshoot enablement issues - Comply with local policies and regulations - Maintain local operating procedures - Project work and testing - Manage local escalations - Supplier training - Reporting - Work with other teams assisting with system improvements
- 6+ years of relevant operational experience - Proven people management experience - Knowledge in procure to pay processes with advanced understanding of invoicing & payment processes - Proactive and analytical approach to problem solving - Ability to pick up new concepts and technology quickly, including an understanding of the detail - Excellent prioritization and time management skills for self-direction and independent working - The ability to document conceptual, technical and operational information accurately and clearly - Strong communication skills - Ability to work and deliver to deadlines - Ability to multitask and deliver multiple deliverables at once - Strong Microsoft skills Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Team player who proactively shares information to assist his colleagues to improve the team as a whole - Ability to question traditional or conventional practices and initiate action - Attention to detail
