An exciting opportunity exists for you to start your career in our Regulatory Operations team as an Analyst on a 12 months contract.
The Regulatory Operations Team is responsible for the on-going management and administration of global derivative transactions across all businesses which are cleared or reportable from pre-settlement to termination.
As an Analyst you will be investigating reconciliation exceptions internally and at the regulatory repository as well as preparing and monitoring the risk reporting process. In addition to this, your responsibilities will include escalating any issues that arise through reconciliations and reporting and assisting the Front Office with regulatory reporting queries. You will also be involved in the testing of project work to meet changes in regulatory rules.
Ideally you will bring a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field coupled with 1-2 years' of experience in financial markets across various products. Your excellent problem solving and communication skills, pro-active nature and great attention to detail will see you succeed in this role. Previous knowledge and experience with MTS, Quantum or Core as well as an understanding of DTCC or Markitwire would be advantageous.
