The Role Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of upstream integration with GNS to support processes, products, and policies
Independent self-starter to lead new projects and challenge existing processes
Develop and lead end-to-end project plans with a focus on process and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives
Contribute to the FCC product management team in assessing and understanding the risk profiles of products, channels and customers so as to provide Name screening solutions.
Take ownership, socialise ideas and best practice with the business.
Produce required project documentation (e.g. Business Requirements, Impact Analysis, Gap Analysis) highlighting the business needs
Review new business requirements that needs to brought into the scope of Name screening and provide solutions where required. Escalate project risks, issues and dependencies.
Manage and run project roll outs including definition of requirements, ensuring robust testing of delivery
Liaise and monitor system performance through assurance during BAU
Maintain a robust channel of communication with FCC teams (especially List ownership, Name Screening, SPOT, SORS) to facilitate a feedback loop to ensure quality and efficiencies of the systems & processes deployed.
Keep track of industry best practices and be an influencer in bringing about such changes
Keep track of emerging regulatory expectations in terms of transaction screening and evaluate the present state of infrastructure and processes of the organization against this
Manage operational aspects of relevant deliveries and work streams working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
Maintain a robust channel of communication with FCC teams (especially List ownership, FORCO Product, SPOT, SORS) to facilitate a feedback loop to ensure quality and efficiencies of the systems & processes deployed.
Collaborate with Business Users, product and technology to implement System Enhancements
Responsible for reviewing User Requirements and Functional Specifications
Responsible to Plan and Manage UAT
Prepare Test Plan, Scope, Scenarios, Scripts and Data
Supervise and Manage Testers and Review Test Results
Support Pre & Post Implementation Activities including monitoring System Performance and following up on Issues Encountered by Users
Track and Manage Production Issues including working with Users and IT to resolve them
Produce, review and maintain detailed documentation and where relevant, ensure proper sign off procedures are followed.
Validity and integrity of documentation is maintained throughout a project and that any changes are analysed, documented and progressed efficiently.
Ensure the appropriate change control is followed. Maintain effective version control. Ensure all parties are working to the latest version of requirements / stories.
Communication and Change
Liaise with Product and Technology to analyse all Business Requirements
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress requirements / stories into the development phase.
Arrange and lead meetings and whiteboard sessions to identify requirements. Participate in project meetings.
Ensure correct governance is applied, change is compliant with the banks standards.
Ensure information is correctly communicated and where necessary issue are escalated to management in a timely manner.
Share ideas and best practice information with colleagues. Thinks beyond current boundaries of the role and contributes ideas.
Work with the GNS Programme Manager and Workstream Lead to identify and manage intra-Programme and external dependencies
Work across the FCC, ITO and systems/markets/segments to identify the risks from GNS implementation and steps to mitigate them
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of business analysis experience in financial services industry or working in Operations, Project Management, Analytics, Product, or equivalent team
2+ years of experience initiating and autonomously driving highly complex and cross-functional projects to completion
Experience communicating to and influencing a variety of audiences with s trong written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver results through both local and off-shored team members
Strategic thinker with sharp analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Proven experience in Sanctions Compliance, AML / Transaction Surveillance
Experience with KYC, Customer Due Diligence, Name and Transaction Screening
Experience in implementing screening/filtering solution such as Detica and FircoSoft
Understanding of core banking systems and interfaces
Prior experience in managing Sanctions Compliance Programs
