We are currently recruiting for an Associate/VP level banker to cover the North American subsidiaries of multinational corporations headquartered in Germany and Switzerland. This position will report into an Executive Director and is based in New York City.
Core responsibilities of preferred candidate include:
New business development, execution and relationship management for our clients.
Developing forward-looking business plans for clients and maintaining existing business relationships.
Conducting comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across Debt Capital Markets, Risk Management, Wholesale Payments and Asset Management. Converting client analysis into concrete financial solutions.
Building and developing coverage of the GCB-selected clients, working and coordinating with partners such as Treasury Services, Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives where such coverage exists.
Marketing in-scope Investment Banking products (including: traditional credit product, public bonds, private placements, ABS/conduit, FX, rates and commodities) and all non-IB products (including: treasury services, trade, cards and investment management).
Driving account planning processes for covered clients, focusing on the use of credit capital and balancing the firm wide priorities.
Role will require travel to meet clients in North America and Europe.
Excellent written and oral communication in both English and German
Strong commercial judgment and influencing abilities.
Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills and ability to lead and work in a team environment.
Must pass SIE, Series 79 and 63 exams prior to joining
Preferred experience, knowledge or skills:
Knowledge of J.P. Morgan's processes and products is a plus
Established network or experience working with large multinational corporate clients, particularly German and Swiss companies
Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products
