The Procurement team is responsible for strategic sourcing, buying, supplier management, data & analytics, outsourcing, commercial review, contract management, financing and acquisition of a broad range of products and services across the organization, subsidiaries and affiliates. The Senior Sourcing Specialist, Professional Services is a senior, individual contributor whose primary focus will be continuous evolution of procurement process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and drive transformational and cost savings initiatives within the parameters of Two Sigma's unique culture and needs. You will be responsible for partnering with Two Sigma's leadership in establishing unbiased and transparent supplier management while demonstrating creativity, strong ethics, honesty, commercial process knowledge and relentless pursuit of outstanding results. This role reports to Two Sigma's Head of Procurement and will support various global initiatives and will primarily support the company's Professional and Corporate Services with focus on HR, Travel, BPO, Supplier Performance and general non-technology services.
You will take on the following responsibilities:
Drive an efficient, transparent and ethical procurement process, with an ability to navigate through ambiguity
Design and drive transformational and cost-savings initiatives
Create and foster relationships with global suppliers
Negotiate agreement terms ensuring compliance with firm standards and in adherence to commercial review processes
Establish and evolve processes, controls, SLAs for stakeholders
Provide thoughtful and actionable reporting and project updates to leadership
Leverage analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommendations to stakeholders and leaders
Contribute to the continued evolution of the Procurement organization
You should possess the following qualifications:
10+ years of progressive procurement and sourcing experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments
BA/BS required; advanced degrees preferred but not required
Procurement knowledge of facilities, contingent labor, benefits, HR, legal with proven track record of effectively partnering with stakeholders across these functions
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities and timelines
Willingness and ability to operate autonomously and to manage through ambiguity
Strong negotiation and influence skills, with an expert-level knowledge of commercial practices and standards
Excellent communication skills and an analytical, data-driven mindset
Strong leadership skills and experience managing change
Strong analytical skills, including expert-level Excel skills
