You would be joining a small specialised team in Tokyo and the role focuses on reviewing and approving research clearance, monitoring watch lists / black lists, and authorising information barrier crossing.
Additional responsibilities include UAT and resolving firewall issues.
The team also works closely with other Control Room's in the APAC region.
This person would also need to be consistently aware of the latest rules and regulations, and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
Experience within securities / investment banking (front, middle or back office).
Risk / Control mindset and an interest in investigative work.
Good potential to adopt new skills and knowledge.
Fluent in Japanese, conversational English
Compliance or Control Room experience is necessarily required but would be beneficial.
Average technical / IT skills are also beneficial.
