Your role & work environment
As a Data Analyst Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for the coaching and development of a team of Data Analysts. More specifically, within the broad domain of Analytics, you will be training Data Analysts on their marketing-modelling skills and on proper coding skills to enhance standardization and automation of recurrent tasks.
You will play a crucial end-to-end role in the data-driven culture supporting our products and services. You will be responsible for delivering valuable insights to both your colleagues and our clients with a clear focus on interest and behavior of our clients. Your day-to-day job would consist of data exploitation and promotion of personalized content towards our clients. This can be through campaigns and cases on all our touchpoints. You will promote innovation and testing in the field of personalized content.
Your key responsibilities
As a chapter lead , you will take 40% of your time for the following responsibilities :
To manage, coach, inspire, develop, evaluate and assess employees
To keep expertise related to the work field up to date and to develop the analytical craftsmanship
To collaborate closely with the BE / NL Chapter Leads for Data Analysts and Data Scientists
To propose training/courses, professional literature
To play a role model to generate curiosity of your team towards other domains of expertise
During the remaining 60% of your time, you will work as a Data Analyst, with the following responsibilities :
To automate and standardize recurrent analytical activities to enable efficiency gains
To identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets by means of marketing modelling and using SQL and SAS
To deliver insights and recommendations based on the analysis of internal and external data
To communicate recommendations to the stakeholders using both analytical and business jargon when appropriate (written and oral)
To work with management to prioritize business and information needs, and accordingly translate them into an analytical approach
To provide end-to-end data / analytical support for the stakeholders' actions

You hold a Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of 3 to 5 years within the banking domain
You have relevant experience in the domain of marketing modelling. You are familiar with techniques such as propensity-to-buy modelling, next best actions, customer value, share of wallet, churn predictions, etc. An affinity with the data-science domain is a plus (e.g. machine learning, AI).
You have adequate experience with commonly-used tools used for marketing modelling such as SAS. An affinity with the data-science domain is a plus (e.g. Hadoop, Python).
You are fluent in Dutch or French and English
