The client is a highly regarded international bank, that operates within a variety of financial markets.
As Senior Associate Director of Compliance, you will:
Monitor the daily LIBOR submission process and challenge issues as required
Implement the Rate Submission Oversight Policy in relation to LIBOR
Monitor and review all LIBOR communications to ensure that all submitters and reviewers are working within the requirements of the LIBOR code of conduct. Develop, manage, prepare, present LIBOR training materials
Organise Rate Submission Oversight Committee meetings - provide a detailed agenda, detailed minutes and follow up with actions
Liaise with Internal and External Audit on LIBOR matters and ensure other departments meet their LIBOR Audit requirements
Responsible for SONIA policy review and review daily SONIA activity
Manage and maintain regular reporting on internal compliance matters within Europe Treasury Department
Review Dealers Mandates and trading activity to ensure traders are working within their authorised mandate and are Volcker compliant
Undertake Time Input checks and Off Market Cash Bond checks to ensure trades are input within the correct time frame
Conduct systems review to ensure sensitive data and LIBOR documentation is safeguarded
Review presentation and economic research material to ensure it meets the FCA requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
University degree or equivalent
Extensive experience in a Compliance Monitoring role within a Corporate Banking environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority
