Market Job Description
In this new role, the role holder will support the Commercial relationship management and Capital Markets teams in delivering various tasks. It is intended that the role holder will be promoted to a role of additional responsibility to manage certain customer relationships after an initial period of settling into the business and role.
Engage with customers to source financial statements on a periodic (quarterly/ semi-annual/ annual) basis. Share the statements with requisite stakeholders.
Prepare and discuss a trading experience report for various customers, as required, for trade credit insurers highlighting volumes, utilization, delinquencies and any other noteworthy information
Create and distribute a weekly deal pipeline report and take meeting minutes from the weekly pipeline call.
Support the commercial and credit functions by spreading financial statements and generating credit ratings (BQRs) - this will include applying expert judgement.
Ad hoc support including preparing client presentations (information, graphs, etc.) and execution of legal documentation.
Following a settling in period, manage customer relationships and lead cross-functional deal teams in structuring and executing credit limits.
Capital Markets Support
Support the team in sourcing and sharing financial statements, credit insurance documents and customer/ vendor contracts with banks and other syndicate participants.
Market Skills and Certifications
Financial services experience
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Strong analytical and communications skills
Professional proficiency in a major European language desired (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.)
