Our client is a large financing firm that provides asset-backed and other structured debt financing solution.
We are seeking an energetic and resourceful incumbent to join the front office team to undertake all the necessary support activities in the origination and execution of project finance and structured finance transactions across the offshore marine sectors.
Working with the senior members of the front office team, the incumbent will be responsible for:
Evaluation of projects and financing opportunities to determine suitability for financing
Preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials
Preparation of credit applications to seek approval for proposed financing commitments
Detailed due diligence and research to support the risk analysis and determine acceptability of proposed risk mitigation
Review of financial models and performance of cash flow sensitivities
Coordinate with clients, lenders' advisers and financing partners on due diligence, term sheet negotiations and documentation
The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of relevant project financing experience coming from established banks. Experience in offshore marine transactions will be beneficial to the role.
Strong credit analysis capabilities
Basic understanding of project finance structures and terms a significant advantage
Organised and meticulous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Adept at reviewing and manipulating Excel-based cash flow models
Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint
Self-starter with strong self-motivation and a proven capacity to work in a newly established organisation
Accept ownership and accountability for agreed upon targets and deliverables.
