Reporting to the SGIL Head of Product Accounting, you will be responsible of ensuring the P&L of SGIL, and the associated balance sheet is accurately reflected in the General Ledger.
Assisting in the oversight of the offshore team in charge of production.
Provide support in monthly account closing across all the asset classes in SGIL.
Perform Accounting P&L and balance sheet analysis and reporting to management and trading desks in SGIL (Cross Asset Financing, Treasury, Commodities and Prime Service).
Managing ad hoc requests from SGIL Finance Management and DFIN business partners (Front Office, IT, Operations, Risk)
Summary of Responsibilities:
Developing analysis and controls over the product control framework of SGIL.
Assist in new business developments and enhancements to industrialize the team production.
Participating in projects to Change the Bank with impact in Finance department.
Participating to the SGIL Treasury P&L review preparation (papers and supporting presentation)
Review and update of policies and procedures documentation

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance/Accounting. You ideally have a previous experience in financial markets You are fluent in English. French is a plus. You are proficient with MS Office especially Excel and Power Point.
Relevant education or Financial Product Control expertise with up to date technical awareness and knowledge in one or more of the following products:
Forex exchange / currency and money markets
Equities and equity derivatives
Interest rate derivatives
Technical knowledge of financial instruments
Previous experience in brokerage or investment banking
