Assist the Head of US Operational Risk to oversee and monitor the Bank's Operational Risk Management program to identify, measure and mitigate operational risk across the Bank's business lines and support teams.
The position will manage operational risk in collaboration with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of defense partners. Responsibilities include risk identification, risk measurement, risk mitigation and risk reporting/monitoring. This is accomplished by working with business partners utilizing various tools and engaging with the first line of defense to provide advice and effective challenge.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience; 10+ years industry-related experience; strong understanding of the US Banking Industry (issues, trends, competitors)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to create concise model documentation and memos; a writing sample may be requested
Excellent relationship building skills to establish key relationships within lines of busines and other business partners, including governance and oversight functions
