As part of the Global Compliance, the Compliance Assurance Program supports the effective and sustainable execution of the Global Compliance Operating Framework ("GCOF"). The GCOF describes the Global Compliance function, including guiding principles and accountabilities of Compliance teams and key elements and processes of the Global Compliance Program. The primary accountability of the function is to independently monitor and assess the adequacy of, adherence to and effectiveness of regulatory compliance management programs and controls in the business lines.
The Global Compliance Governance & Assurance Data Analytics & Reporting team (CGA Data Analytics & Reporting) is responsible for the identification, validation, aggregation, and reporting of data used in Compliance and Conduct Risk oversight and in the Compliance Risk Assessment process.

Those insights will be brought to bear to enable informed and enabled business decisions enterprise wide or help to solve the increasingly complex business problems they face.

As a Senior Business Insights Analyst, you will:
Apply understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and substantial data analysis to support business goals and objectives
Develop analysis to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities
Produce insights and recommend business actions to align with strategy and/or solve business problems
Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or mentorship to various business and working partners
Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner
Represent functional area as an analytics & insights professional and key resource; build positive and productive working partnerships
Act as a bridge to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain
Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics
Work independently as the senior analyst/subject matter expert and may coach and educate others
Considered an authority within a given area
Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end

Undergraduate degree or technical certificate

Data Strategy, Governance & Management
Assist in the determination, establishment and execution of the data strategy for CGA which will involve the modernization of the existing data capabilities, data management systems and related processes and controls
Act as the primary Data Steward representing CGA before the Global Compliance, COLA and TD Enterprise forums and be responsible to coordinate actions for ongoing initiatives (e.g. Enterprise Data Life Management)
-Data Aggregation, Management & Reporting
Turn thoughts/ideas/strategies into actionable information through knowledge of IT infrastructure, data management and reporting tools.
Assist in the development of dashboards with identified KRI's as appropriate for oversight of Compliance Risk.
Assist in the Compliance decision process through the use of data and analytics which may include but not be limited to information about regulatory requirements, segment controls and findings.
Provide innovative thinking on how data management, reporting, and analytics can support the annual Compliance goals in an efficient and effective manner, including automation and streamlining of processes.
Manage to a culture of accuracy, meeting analytical and regulatory standards.
Be able to deliver under tight time frames with multiple key stakeholders with different needs/ requirements.
Create insights through thoughtful data reporting and analytics.
Well-developed business acumen and analytical capabilities with the ability to consolidate inputs into clear, concise analysis and recommendations.
Work with Compliance governance, IT, legal, HR, operational risk, Compliance Units and business lines to support an ongoing proactive analysis program.
Participate and be an integral contributor within the CGA Data Analytics & Reporting team

Interact and communicate with individuals involved in identifying and reporting on Conduct Risk in the Business, HR, IT, OpRisk, and Compliance globally.
*Qualifications and Skills
5+years related data, systems, and reporting experience required (preferably in Banking, Finance, Risk Management, or Compliance).
Dashboard design and visualization skills for reporting purposes (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
SQL programming skills and other reporting & dashboard tools expertise.
Advance knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Access is a must
Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python and R is an asset
Independently implement complex data strategies, reporting, and analysis across multiple large data sources.
Interest for data engineering and fluency to interact with web/database developers
Proven ability to independently coordinate and complete complex enterprise data projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that accurately and clearly summarize issues and present solutions in an understandable and logical manner
Critical reasoning skills and the ability to see the "forest through the trees"
Works independently and with a team.
Able to address vague topics in a way that creates action.
Attention to detail and accuracy, requires minimal supervision of work product
Education & Accreditation
Bachelor university degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other analytical based discipline.
