Risk Management Solution Lead (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA): Across the globe, institutional investors rely on State Street to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability. The Risk Management Solution Lead (a/k/a Senior Business Analyst) will support multiple high priority, risk driven cross-organizational global initiatives to meet various functional requirements. The Risk Management Solution Lead (a/k/a Senior Business Analyst) will work with numerous functions within State Street to help drive activities to produce and update documentation of internal processes, data controls, periodic testing and validation of controls. Specific responsibilities include: partner with ERM to develop risk excellent approaches for process management; drive design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution; facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders; understanding of business intelligence or canned reporting framework for finance risk and regulatory processes; develop partnerships across business functions to address data quality remediation for critical scenarios; translate requirements into Test Scenarios Test Cases and Test Scripts; exemplify a customer focused team driven mentality; serving as role model for colleagues, coach and motivate team members to meet milestones and to achieve goals; and requires willingness to take ownership and initiative be accountable and proactive and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of experience as a business/data Analyst in a Risk data-centric project environment.
Must have: subject matter expertise on functional domain: risk and regulatory processes; demonstrated experience dealing with various capital market products such as forwards, futures, options, fixed income products (various Bonds, IRS, cap/floor); proven experience dealing with Enterprise credit risk data and processes around risk modeling, limit management, counterparty management, PD, LGD; proven strong PL/SQL skills, comfortable with large volumes of data; demonstrated understanding of data transformation normalization and data-modelling; proven ability to quickly learn new BI tools and data sources; demonstrated meticulous attention to detail placing high value on accuracy; and demonstrated excellent verbal written communication and presentation skills in front of senior management.
