The Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR) group within the Chief Administrative Office is responsible for ensuring the adequacy of the firm's resiliency. FBR is responsible for determining the firm's resiliency strategy, including setting the standards and analyzing the data necessary to articulate a risk-based view of the firm's resiliency capabilities. The FBR team works as part of a consolidated virtual organization with Business Resiliency teams and Technology Resiliency teams to execute against the firm's resiliency strategy.
Resiliency is a fast evolving space with exciting new changes in the horizon. FBR is at the center of it all, helping the firm adapt to concepts like Operational Resiliency, Impact Tolerance and End to End Testing.
FBR is seeking an Associate for Business Resiliency Testing to support the development and execution of the Testing Program. The ideal candidate should be execution oriented with the ability to immerse themselves in the overall program demand & business needs. The Associate will report into the Head of FBR Testing and work alongside the Manager for FBR Testing to support the execution of the testing program and plan.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support as the Exercise / Test Event Coordinator
Program Development with the FBR Testing Head
Support the development of the program plan
Manage the monitoring and reporting on the program
Program Execution with the FBR Testing Manager
Responsible for the supporting the planning, design, conduct, and evaluation of both internal and external resiliency exercises / tests
Coordinating aspects of exercise / test project management across the four phases of the planning cycle (i.e., plan, design, conduct, and assess) to include scheduling meetings, reserving venues, facilitating discussions, and providing senior leader project updates
Coordinating post-exercise after-action reporting and assessment, synthesize corrective actions and assist in designing future exercises to validate improvements
4 years demonstrated experience supporting the implementation of complex enterprise-wide initiatives
Experience in program monitoring and reporting
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to build relationships, including fostering a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
Strong skills in communication and presentation
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge and experience working within the US financial services sector a plus
Experience with Resiliency / Crisis Management / Risk Management a plus
