Located in the City Park building in the suburb of Powai, Mumbai, the BDC houses the Knowledge Center teams who work with and support the front office businesses of the Private Bank and Investment Bank. The teams are responsible for a full range of business functions from data gathering to investment analysis and risk and analytics modeling. The Investment Publishing team responsibility for the Quality Assurance of all written Research / Investment Strategy materials published by Credit Suisse Private Banking analysts globally.
The role of an Investment Publishing Designated Analyst include:
A Designated Analyst (DA)/Designated Supervisor (DS) has the final overall control of reports before they are published and distributed and is responsible for any erroneous content or reputational issues.
The DS/DA makes sure that all content strictly adheres to Credit Suisse policies, procedures and editorial standards, as well as ensures compliance with financial regulations, and disclosure and disclaimer requirements.
Reviewing and approving of reports primarily on Credit Suisse's proprietary content management system (CMAP) and ad-hoc presentations/emails submitted by analysts.
In terms of Quality assurance, performing a comprehensive language check on reports on the basis of Investment Publishing's editorial standards and LCD compliance manuals, as well as an approval checklist before reports are submitted to DAs/DSs for review. Selection of appropriate tags/metadata in CMAP and define correct distribution lists for reports.
It is your responsibility to perform the final publication of reports in CMAP after completion of the Quality Review-DA/DS Review-Legal and Compliance Review approval process.
In addition, you will exhibit effective communication with various associates across geographic regions while ensuring that reports are published within agreed timeline.
You will carefully monitor the overall publication process/schedule and dedicatedly raise red flags related to compliance and reputational issues regarding various publications.
You will monitor and improve writing quality of analysts and strategists based in Mumbai BDC by providing direct feedback and training where necessary.
You Offer: Qualifications:
You hold a university degree B.A. in economics, finance, English or journalism.
In addition you have around 2-3 years of professional experience in an editorial team in the financial research industry
As this is an editor role it is critical for you to proofread the contents of the research reports and publications fluency in English is necessary.
You have a strong eye for detail and are meticulous. Furthermore, you are client focused and have the ability to meet tight deadlines under time constraints.
