Your Opportunity Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organisations on how to effectively mitigate risk and make informed and intelligent risk decisions around business processes, technology and operations. Our Risk Advisory business is expanding as we increasingly are asked to help organisations to adapt and respond to new risks and take advantage of new opportunities presented by digital technology and the internet. Within our Technology Risk & Control team we have a pool of dedicated Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) specialists with expertise in the design and implementation of integrated solutions in several technologies. We design, implement and provide assurance over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis and we are seeking to grow the team within the Financial Services sector. As part of the role, you are expected to collaborate and lead a team of professionals to deliver high quality GRC solutions to the client.
Ensuring required levels of excellence and alignment with Deloitteâ€™s GRC methodology.
C ollaborate with the project team to deliver end to end GRC projects
Ensure successful project outcome and quality based on requirements as signed off by the client
Provide detailed GRC insight and industry recommendation during the scoping and requirements gathering phase
Understand client Response for Proposals (RFPs) requirements and help the team prepare and respond in a timely manner
Plan and respond to critical issues relating to the project
Clear understanding of the firmâ€™s commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse culture; and willingness to promote within the team.

Your Professional Experience:
Professional degree in science, engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of nine years of client project implementation or delivery experience.
A minimum of four years of experience as a GRC project manager or architect.
Working knowledge and expertise of GRC solutions (i.e. policy management, regulatory compliance, control testing, cyber security, security operations, business continuity, third-party security).
In-depth GRC system configuration and customisation skills.
Subject matter expert on Security Development Life Cycle (SDLC), secure architecture and design.
Expertise in one or more IT Risk frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, COBIT.
Ability to lead system and user acceptance testing efforts within projects.
Strong communication (including report writing), challenging, investigative, influencing, and presentational skills with senior management and in formal committee settings.
