The Institutional FX Sales team is actively involved in providing liquidity and executing trading orders for its clients. With in-depth understanding of its core sub segments of Real Money, Hedge Funds, Sovereign Wealth/Central Banks, and Broker Dealers, the team is keenly attuned to specific needs and market trends as they relate to institutional clients.
The successful candidate will play a key roll in developing and executing a client prospecting effort focused on the mid-tier institutional client segment. The candidate will also be responsible for developing, maintaining and growing new and existing relationships with the objective of maximizing wholesale foreign exchange sales opportunities.
Also, the candidate will:
Distribute a diverse range of foreign exchange products to sophisticated Institutional clients.
Provide innovative ideas and exceptional service to institutional clients in a very fast paced and competitive environment.
Provide quality and timely market information and pricing.
Market TD's FX Research and Quantitative/Algorithmic Solutions.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Distribution teams, FX Trading teams as well as the Capital Market Origination teams.
Execute strategic prospecting initiative
Cultivate new and deepen existing relationships by cross selling the dealer's other capital markets services.
Protect TD Bank and its subsidiaries from loss and/or exposure to unnecessary reputational risk through strict compliance with applicable acts, policies and regulations as applicable.
Experience in wholesale Foreign Exchange sales or trading activities (Minimum of 3 years of experience in FX).
Proven record of successful client prospecting and relationship management skills with a mid-tier Real Money client portfolio.
Strong understanding of electronic FX solutions.
Strong understanding of financial markets and financial products.
Demonstrated strong business analytical skills, problem solving abilities, initiative and creativity.
Minimum of 5 years industry experience
CFA or CMT designation is an asset
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
Strong team player
Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Bloomberg as well as an ability to learn new applications
