POSITION: The Automotive Aftermarket teamis actively looking for experienced Associates/Vice Presidents in ourBoston office.
GROUP DESCRIPTION: Jefferies Automotive Aftermarket Groupprovides a full suite of advisory and capital markets capabilities to industry clientsacross a full spectrum of channels and services, including consumer and retail,automotive service, manufacturing, distribution, technology, business services,and many others. The Automotive Aftermarket Group is a team of approximately 10-15professionals based in Boston and serving the market globally (approximately 25%of transactions are international).
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university AND 5+ years of Investment Banking experience with significant sell-side M&A advisory experience
MBA degree (or equivalent graduate degree) from an accredited college or university AND 2+ years of Investment Banking experience with significant sell-side M&A advisory experience
Supervise and direct junior bankers in the preparation of pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
Analyze business plans and participate in due diligence sessions
Financial modeling coursework, training, or experience
Lives in Boston or willing to relocate
Series 63 & 79 preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
