This role ensures all tax compliance related functions for WM and GSS are completed timely and accurately. Incumbent will be the liaison with all WM Operations and Administration and tax-related vendors;; coordinate inquiries from federal and state taxing authorities; review new account processes; research, review and resolve reported discrepancies; filing tax returns with extensions/extensions; ongoing communication with clients and business line officers; review of quarterly tax payments and work from vendors and all other tax-related responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications Incumbent must acknowledge and elevate potential tax issues to management when needed. Undergraduate degree, or equivalent experience, in accounting, finance or other business related field is required.0-2 years tax or related fiduciary experience. Experience with tax software, database experience and/or online research experience helpful. Excellent pc skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products Strong analytical skills
