Job Description Summary Schroders Personal Wealth is a new business serving wealth planning needs for mass affluent and affluent clients. It is jointly owned by Lloyds Banking Group and Schroder Plc, bringing together the inherent strengths across both organisations to deliver on a bold medium term ambition to become a top 3 wealth planning firm in the UK.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join the business at its inception and actively contribute to the development of its proposition and products. The role sits in the Product and Proposition department within the Commercial function. Location is open to discussion.
We are looking to welcome an experienced Fund Administrator to assist with the set up, and on-going governance, of our own fund range.
Working within our (Schroders Personal Wealth) Product and Proposition department, this role will actively contribute to the development of our proposition and products through assisting with the set-up, and on-going governance of our fund range.
The role holder will support in the creation of our fund range and be involved in its on-going governance, including value for money assessments and overseeing fund literature to ensure we clearly articulate our investment philosophy to clients.
You'll be accountable for:
Supporting new business and fund launches
Identifying opportunities for new funds that meet client and business needs
Support in the delivery of new business initiatives including the launch of our own funds
Involvement in the assessment of operational impact and requirements of fund launches
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of any new products and/or processes
Co-ordination of fund literature including KIDS, prospectuses and marketing material
Support in target market assessment and investor profiling
Ongoing reviews of all funds to ensure they are fully compliant with relevant regulations
Responsible for the production of materials and data to support ongoing governance
Use analytical and other tools, to ensure good client outcomes are being delivered
Establish and build relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information and analysis to inform business decisions
Represent the team within the wider organisation on new initiatives
Experience of Fund Administration, including the end to end set up of fund products
Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in Fund Administration
Experience of setting up and overseeing control processes within the investment management and investment administration industry
Experience of working with and developing fund literature
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make the complex simple
Ability to positively influence others by demonstrating core SPW values and behaviours
A high level of numeracy
Good interpersonal skills
