Job Description : Job Description Responsible for providing institutional clients with access to investors by hosting road shows, conferences, etc. Publishes industry research reports and communicates recommendations on the purchase, sale, or holding of securities to clients in designated industry/sector.
Works closely with senior analyst.
Conducting research at several levels: macro, industry and individual companies
Building models at the industry and company levels, including market forecasts, revenue forecasts, and estimates for profit according to a variety of metrics.
Conducting valuation analyses.
Formulating investment ideas.
Writing draft research commentary.
Works closely with supervisory analysts in the publication process.
Depending on experience and the needs of the individual analyst, sometimes work closely with Robinson Humphrey sales and trading to help leverage the analyst's research product into our client base.
Also depending on experience and the needs of the individual analyst, sometimes maintain active dialog with representatives of covered companies, to ensure that our research and models are up to date.
Occasionally work closely with investor clients to help leverage the analyst's research product, depending on experience and the needs of the individual analyst.
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
4 years of related work experience
Strong knowledge of investment banking, market, industry sector, and/or financial products
Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Advanced skills in written and oral communications, and interpersonal relationship management
Solid analytical and sales skills
MBA degree, with a Finance focus
6 years of related work experience
