Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Enterprise Change Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving TD's enterprise change management strategy, in addition to the following:
Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide impact and stakeholder assessment to inform the change strategy and initiatives.
Create reporting that captures critical change initiatives across the enterprise and assist with informing change strategy decisions.
Works closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise to share best practices as it pertains to change and stakeholder impact assessment.
Job Requirements: CUSTOMER:
Support a diverse range of stakeholders; communicate effectively assessing potential change processes and diverse audience issues / objectives
Analyze impacts/risks and provide recommendations to customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology solutions to achieve business results
Understand, clarify and lead work packages of each assigned initiative/project inclusive of constraints (time, cost, people resources) and maintain a customer-centric approach
Provide recommendations and direction based on the end-to-end customer experience when making decisions
Lead and own the project deliverables related to change management to meet the needs of the customer, employee, and business and drive successful adoption of change
Assess and ensure that customer and employee experience / stakeholder impacts are appropriately understood and managed
Engage appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the business
Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders, including the project sponsor, business project owner, project / program / portfolio manager to ensure they are aware of significant changes which impact change delivery against the overall project
Respond to inquiries and escalate change related concerns from stakeholders and partners at all levels in the organization
Identify and lead problem resolution to ensure customer needs are met for own area as assigned
Collaborate with the project manager and business sponsor to identify and ensure required resources are assigned to the project
Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems while assessing options and recommendations for prompt resolution
Collaborate with partners across TD to drive successful adoption of change; e.g., communications, training, process, etc.
Create change plans and activities that drive adoption of change
Develop change strategies, plans, and activities that drive adoption of change and benefits realization based on business needs
Work with Business Owner/Sponsor to identify change adoption metrics
Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for business area
Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements ( e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets)
Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities exists
Lead / facilitate and/or implement actions / remediation plans to address performance / risk /governance issues
Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

BREADTH & DEPTH:
Expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge / expertise in own domain / field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas
Lead the end-to-end delivery of major deliverables and or work packages for projects of mid-range complexity and scale
Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource related to change methodology / tools for others in their own area or on the project team
May support deliverables and work packages across multiple change workstreams (e.g., change, communications, stakeholder management).
Collaborates with project / change stakeholders to complete assigned deliverables
Provides advice and guidance on the application of TD's change methodology and framework(s) as applicable to change workstreams and project scope
Integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area
Understands the industry, competition and the factors that differentiate the organization and the need / rationale for the change
Applies best practices to change management methods and tools to ensure continuous improvement
Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or a resource for others
Leads workstreams of moderately complex risks and resource requirements; may lead process to complete workstream deliverables across project workstreams and stakeholders
Contributes to setting standards within area of expertise
Leads the resolution of complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders
Uses advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and recommend standards against which others will operate
Interprets guidelines, standards, policies and results of analysis to inform decision making at senior levels
Builds stakeholder alignment in leading projects and activities; may provide subject matter advice at senior levels
Generally reports to a Senior Manager role
Acts as the change management lead for Tier 3-4, moderate risk and regulatory projects
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Relevant Change Management Accreditations are an asset
5+ years related experience, working in a project environment Proficient knowledge of change management principles, industry best practices, lines of businesses supported, project management, organization practices, business culture(s) and business transformation
Knowledge of current and emerging trends
Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
Knowledge of project/program support, planning and implementation
Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
Skill in mentoring, and coaching
Skill in using software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability handle confidential information with discretion
