The Role Responsibilities
Asset Liability Management (ALM) Activities
Execution of Liquidity Operations
Intraday/end of day cash management/trade settlement to manage regulatory, market risk and balance sheet limits
Monitor the cash movement throughout the day including management of Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) account, handling of Sukuk purchase and maturity and fund movement on SCB Reserve Account with AMBD.
Alert Group Market Risk (GMR) and Treasury Market (TM) Singapore at least 2 business days (where possible) on large fund movement such as Sukuk purchase/ maturity, fund movement on SCB Reserve Account with AMBD, large withdrawals and deposits on Current Account & Savings Account (CASA) and Time Deposit (TD), placement of overnight (O/N) or surplus funds into nostro account.
Manage daily surplus fund placement with T-M Singapore.
Prepare daily report to ALM and GMR SG on all outstanding placements with ALM SG and Sukuk.
Monitor Shell intraday overdraft limit.
Daily update to FX NOP and blotter including monitoring of PeopleSoft General Ledger (PSGL) against FX P&L and daily SGD position.
Financial Market (FM) Sales Activities
To form collaborative relationships with FM, TB and RMs enabling synergies and adjacencies for FX flow business.
Work with offshore FM team to service clients and deliver the agreed budgets.
Improve client activation.
Maintain zero/low error rate for trade execution.
Ensure adherence to the Bank's A&S.
Ensure all global and local compliance guidelines are followed, such as fair pricing, record keeping etc.
Wealth Management (WM) Activities
Handle daily update to FX file, FX call from Retail clients, input FX position cover in S2Bx and EOD balancing against NOP limit.
Provide bond prices to frontlines and execution of bond ticket with Bond Desk, SG.
Maintain board rates, indicative yields and value/fixing/ maturity dates in FINIQ for PCI and prepare PCI fixing instructions and FX tickets.
Placement on successful launch of structured deposit and deposit breakage on any unwinding deal with ALM SG.
Extraction of bond credit rating from Bloomberg for wealth lending LTV.
Monitoring of private offering bond to ensure subscription not exceeding regulated threshold.
Money Laundering Prevention
To make prompt report of suspicious transactions or proposed transaction according to the documented process on reporting and/or in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
To fully comply with Group Policy and Standards on Money Laundering Prevention or local regulatory requirements for the prevention of money laundering.
Health & Safety (H&S)
Ensure conformity to the Group H&S Management System.
Support the timely and proper escalation of H&S issues.
Assist with the identification of suitable employees who may take on the role as Fire wardens and First aiders.
Proactively support the implementation of Group H&S initiatives.
