NetworkManagement is a central functionwithin the CIB Digital & Platform Services organization responsible formanaging the J.P. Morgan's Lines of Business ("LOBs") relationships with theirnetwork of local market participants and market infrastructures. These criticalproviders include Financial Market Infrastructures ("FMIs") (payment systems,central counterparties (CCPs), and check clearing systems) and Agent Banks(cash correspondents, partners, and clearing banks).
With over180 resources, the Network Management team is primarily located in London,Bournemouth, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai to provide coverage ofmarkets and selected clients. While thegroup resides within the CIB, it supports all J.P. Morgan's lines of businessincluding Corporate & Investment Bank (Global Markets; Securities Services;Wholesale Payments), Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Bank and Consumer& Community Banking.
The Network Management Global Regulatory Lead is responsible for thereview, operational design and implementation oversight of all relevant globallegal and regulatory requirements impacting the businesses supported by NetworkManagement. This role will require end to end partnership and liaison with thebusiness appropriate Legal, Compliance, Audit and Risk representatives,Business and Operations Stakeholders, as well as across the global NetworkManagement team and the network of agent banks and FMIs.
Design of operational processes to support the identification and delivery of the regulatory requirements both within the Network Management team and across the network of providers, working in close partnership with the Compliance function.
Monitoring and testing of the Network Management processes to ensure that legal and regulatory requirements are adopted and embedded appropriately.
Undertaking reviews of existing documentation and processes to ensure adherence to current and emerging regulatory risks, as well as new and evolving global regulatory and legal requirements.
Implementing a consistent global approach to regulatory requirements and activities such as Due Diligence, whilst ensuring an understanding of any local nuances.
Designing and implementing best in class global standards and governance, working across the Network Management team to ensure complete and appropriate documentary evidence of all regulatory obligations, exceptions, including oversight and monitoring, leveraging JP Morgan programs and other firm-wide information resources.
Training the Network Management team and network providers to ensure a deep understanding of how to successfully meet and implement the required legal and regulatory obligations.
Oversight and approval of any changes to procedures or documentation relating to legal requirements, regulations, service standards, due diligence or risk management.
Representing Network Management at legal entity committees and stakeholder meetings as required, ensuring that the appropriate levels of governance are adhered to.
Building a team to provide support, advice and oversight of activities for the Network Management team globally.
Experienced senior professional with a proven Financial Services track record, with significant senior level experience in combination of network management and relevant global regulatory and controls experience.
Extensive experience and demonstrated success in designing and evaluating internal controls.
Strong analytical skills particularly in regard to assessing risk and probability of impact of a control weakness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management.
Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
Strong team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic business environment.
Proven ability to be able to multi task, complete projects on time and on budget, and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
