The Client Account Services Team supports account set up and maintenance for internal and external Clients of the CIB. Core activities include direct Client engagement to deliver an excellent Client experience, facilitating complex account set up processes across multiple LOBs, managing large new business initiatives and partnering with the Business to ensure seamless delivery.
The function manages BAU activities and also drives technology and industry solutions to be responsive to a changing regulatory and Business landscape.
The role and responsibilities will include the following:
Pro-active role partnering with key stakeholders to develop a Client facing operating model for a scalable Industry leading solution
A positive demeanour to manage key stakeholder relationships and deliver an excellent Client experience
Partner with Clients and the Business to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Partner with the Change & Technology teams to ensure delivery of key tools to support the overall solution
Implement key Governance and related controls to ensure timely escalation, prioritization and risk/issue management
Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the account opening and maintenance process for CIB
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Previous experience of Client facing relationships
Demonstrable Program Management skills and expertise
Previous experience of large scale change projects
Demonstrable governance & controls experience
Knowledge of Custody, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Agency Collateral, Derivatives, FX, Securities Lending an advantage
Strong Microsoft office skills
Organisational awareness; a bility to coordinate and partner with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to effectively interface with Clients and partners including; facilitation, presentation and production of documentation appropriate to an audience
Ability to shift perspective from high level concepts to low level detail for delivery
Ability to absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately
Keen attention to detail and ability to analyse with appropriate questioning
A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through
Ability to work independently to identify tasks that need to be executed and take ownership to get these delivered
Open attitude towards sharing ideas and knowledge with appropriate partners/stakeholders
Excellent prioritization and time management
Ability to work within a large distributed global team.
