RoboCap is a long-biased fund managed out of London and a pioneer in robotics, automation and AI investments. Founded in 2015, it has successfully launched two listed equity funds focusing on industrial robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, general automation, surgical robots, 3D printing and artificial intelligence. The RoboCap UCITS Fund started in January 2016 and had strong performance and asset growth, then launched a Delaware/Cayman fund in 2018/19. The team is looking to expand and hire one additional full time hires to manage the operations of the funds and parts of the RoboCap LLP company.
Our ideal candidate would share our passion for robotics and new technologies. The role would be focused on operations and could evolve as the company grows. The aim is to hire a multitasking employee who could handle all operational aspects of the company. This person should already be regulated by the FCA or have the required qualifications for the CF30 function. This person would report directly to the CEO/CIO and would be inline to become COO of the company.
Overseeing the trade execution process for equities, FX and derivatives
Compliance function with the support of external consultants
Coordination with third parties providing outsourced functions (IT, cyber-security, accounting, website, distribution among others) and the rest of the team (Advisory Board of robotics experts, fund platform)
Producing marketing documentation and reports for investors
Basic Qualifications and Key Skills:
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience (we are also open to senior profiles with +10y experience)
University graduate in Economics, Math, Business, Law, Sciences or other quantitative background from a highly-regarded University
CF30 or required qualifications to be approved as such
Proficient in Excel and programming skills would be a plus (especially VBA)
Hard working and works well under pressure
Good analytical and organisational skills
High attention to details
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Intellectual curiosity and interest for disruptive technologies
Highest ethical standards
Fluent in English and additional languages a plus
