About the Role:
Risk & Finance Core Services is a horizontal function within ERFT organization and is responsible for delivering across Risk & Finance. The OBIEE Developer is responsible for OBIEE implementation and developing in OBIEE. The requirements of the position include repository development; Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher report development; migrations and merges of repositories and web catalog; expertise in OBIEE upgrades and security configurations; performance tuning; and expertise in dimensional modeling and design.
Having a minimum of 5- 6 years of experience in OBIEE RPD development, Reports and Dashboard development.
Good knowledge in development of repository at all the three layers including Physical Layer, Business Model & Mapping Layer and Presentation Layer
Knowledge in creating Logical columns, Hierarchies, Level Based, Measures, Aggregation Rules, Time Series in Business Model and Catalog Folders in Presentation layers
Good Knowledge in security set up for reports and dashboards.
Good Knowledge in data warehouse basics.
Good experience on Oracle SQL, database performance tuning by implementing Views, Materialized views, creating indexes.
Good understanding of repository objects designed from ROLAP data models, hierarchies, levels
OBIEE migrations and merges of repositories, web catalogs, upgrades and security configurations.
Drive the analysis, design, and development of new dimensional models and enhancements to current models.
Test and reconcile designs to source systems and business specifications. This includes understanding business processes and translating them into requirements.
Proven experience as business intelligence developer (6+ years of experience)
Experience in OBIEE 12c is mandatory
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
A technical mindset with great attention to detail
High quality organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Must be adaptable, flexible, organized and work well in a local and global team environment
Must have a strong drive for success
BS or equivalent in computer science/engineering or relevant field, MS or equivalent is desirable
Exposure to Agile Development Methodology
Exposure to Job Scheduling tools like Autosys.
Experience in banking domain.
