About the Role: Our Information Security team is looking for an Information Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring Team in the areas of Cyber Threat Forensics. The Information Security Engineer will be subject matter expert in Forensics and Malware analysis and is responsible for converting the intelligence report to action items.
The person selected will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in malware analysis.
Analyst will conduct binary analysis via dynamic/static analysis and reverse engineering on the artifacts and providing the remediation methods.
Analyst will proactively hunt for malwares which targets the finance institution and support to strength the WFG cyber security.
Continuously contributes to the development of new security solutions/controls.
This role participates in 24x7 global information security operations and will require shift watch standing at a Wells Fargo Information Security Operations Center site.
Must have 5 to 8 years of Cyber Security
Must have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in malware analysis
Experience in reverse engineering tools (such as IDApro, ollydbg, monitoring tools)
Knowledge in exploitation techniques.
Experience in Security Incident Response, Mitigation and Remediation methodologies
Ability to manage complex security scenarios and develop innovative solutions to address the most recent cyber threats
Advanced knowledge of networks, protocols, standards, Linux/Unix/Window OS internals, and system configuration
Experience with least one scripting language, such as: PowerShell, Python, Bash, PHP, etc.
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or information systems
Market Skills and Certifications
Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge and understanding of system/application architecture and design concepts
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
GCFA, GREM, GNFA, OSCP or other relevant certifications highly preferred
