Market Job Description
Support the local Finance Manager to ensure complete and accurate books and records are maintained for WF's Singapore Branch
Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to regulators
Perform daily monitoring of MAS regulatory requirements
Provide advice on Accounts Payable requirements and workflow of full payable cycle per corporate policy
Collaborate with local branch Finance Manager, APAC shared service team APAC payroll team on vendor expense requirements, expense budgeting, and cash funding requirements
Align proper costing to Lines of Business with appropriate cost driver
Perform expense analysis and able to provide value-added comment to management on variance analysis
Ensure updated documentation exists for all work flow processes in compliance with corporate policy and procedures
Support overall APAC Finance strategy through contribution to various ad-hoc projects and other tasks assigned by superiors in timely manner
Analyze and follow up on reconciliation breaks until they are satisfactorily resolved
Assist with facilitating external statutory audits
Support local Finance Manager on ad-hoc tasks/projects
Market Skills and Certifications
Degree Holder (Specialized in Accounting/Finance) / Good accounting knowledge with accreditation from recognised accounting bodies
Strong technical skills including a good working knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory reporting in the context of Singapore and/or financial services
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Proven capabilities with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Familiar with a variety of multiple locations (regional role experience) and shared services business concept. Best practices on Accounts Payable control and knowledgeable on banking requirements/regulations across APAC regions
Knowledge of Oracle booking and reporting tools
