Wholesale Control (WC)
The Wholesale Control (WC) organization serves as the front line risk management organization within the Wholesale Banking group of Wells Fargo supporting the Wholesale businesses with risk strategy, implementation, and execution. The Wholesale Control team is accountable to assess and effectively manage risks across all risk types and Wholesale businesses delivering an integrated view of risks, producing a sustainable control environment, and instilling a culture of strong risk management. The team is responsible to identify and assess risks, design and implement controls, and execute and monitor the controls to ensure they are working effectively to manage risk across Wholesale. Wholesale Control interfaces with Independent Risk Management and Audit to drive comprehensive and consistent implementation of regulatory and corporate risk policies and programs across Wholesale.
The Role The Administrative Assistant position reports to the Regional Business Control Leader within the Wholesale Control organization. The purpose of the International Control team is t o identify, assess and mitigate risks across Financial Crimes, Regulatory and Operational Risk types, in coordination with the supported International businesses and assurance activities consistent with the risk management framework and policies established by Independent Risk Management (IRM). This position will be accountable for supporting the Wholesale front line control organization staff in the region to execute administrative duties on a timely and efficient manner. The Candidate The ideal candidate possesses a unique skill set and combination of expertise/experience in administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures in Wholesale businesses in financial industry. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. May direct and lead the work of others. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
Provide secretarial support to Regional Business Control Leader, including managing outlook calendars, system application, organizing travel arrangement, processing expenses and handling phone calls in a professional manner
Assist in the onboarding of new team members by working with partner functions to secure space, equipment, access and other new team member requirements.
Provide administrative support to the APAC Business Control Team. Assist senior executives in preparing document, minutes and presentation for business initiatives, projects, committees and working groups
Co-ordinate meetings and events including team member function, townhall, team off-site meeting, workshops, and internal/external visitor events
Office physical access management for travelling managers and visitors from overseas
Manage record for the department
Support and execute various business initiatives, ongoing oversight and follow through implementation of programs assigned
Business Management Support - Provide support in various Business Management Activities as required, such as Information Collation and Management Report Preparation by MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Minimum 2+ years of experience in secretarial/administration, preferably in banking industry
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal in English and Chinese
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook

Ability to adapt to change, perform under pressure and work independently
