As Senior Risk Analyst, you will help drive risk management of the mortgage portfolios through effective risk analysis, portfolio reporting and regular risk appetite reviews.
You will draw upon your strong analytical background where you will focus on using data, reporting, and analysis to improve the risk management of the retail credit portfolio and help develop, implement and monitor new and existing credit policies and processes and much more.
This position will involve exposure to a number of key analytical projects within secured risk including:
Development of risk insights based on regional economic drivers, property market dynamics, customer profiles and portfolio performance.
Portfolio reporting and analysis (flow and performance, ad-hoc queries etc)
Multi-brand and multi product focus - This position will cover risk management activities across brands including Westpac, St George, and Rams as well as mortgage, unsecured and customer level risk.

What Do I Need?
Tertiary qualifications (Maths/Statistics/Quantitative/Business) or equivalent business experience
Proficient with data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
Strong programming skills in SAS or similar statistical languages
Desirable experience with Tableau
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to write clear and concise memorandums.
Minimum of two years relevant banking experience
